Privacy policy

Last updated:

This website is a professional portfolio. It is built to collect as little personal data as possible: there are no advertising trackers, no account system, and nothing is sold to anyone.

  1. 01Who is responsible

The data controller is Zakariae Alliouate, independent web developer based in Meknes, Morocco. For any question about your data, write to zakariaealliouate@gmail.com.

  2. 02When you contact me

The contact page does not store anything on this website. It prepares a message that opens in WhatsApp or in your email app; nothing is sent until you press send there.

When you write to me, I receive what you choose to share — typically your name, phone number or email address, and your message. I use it only to reply to you and, if we work together, to manage the project. WhatsApp (Meta) and your email provider process these messages under their own privacy policies.

I keep project conversations for as long as needed to deliver and support the work, and you can ask me to delete them at any time.

  3. 03Preferences stored in your browser

Two small, strictly functional items are saved on your device: your light/dark theme choice (in local storage) and, if you pick a language manually, a NEXT_LOCALE cookie that remembers it for one year. Neither is used to track you, and both can be cleared from your browser settings.

  4. 04Analytics and hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel. To deliver pages and protect the service, Vercel processes technical data such as IP address, browser type, and request time in its server logs.

Vercel Speed Insights measures how fast pages load (for example, loading times and device type). It does not use cookies and does not identify you.

If Google Analytics is enabled, it is configured with IP anonymization and is used only to understand visits in aggregate (which pages are read, from which country).

  5. 05Transfers outside Morocco

Vercel, Google, and Meta may process data on servers outside Morocco, including in the European Union and the United States, under their own safeguards.

  6. 06Your rights

Under Moroccan law 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, you have the right to access, rectify, and delete your data, and to object to its processing. Visitors from the European Union have equivalent rights under the GDPR.

To exercise these rights, email zakariaealliouate@gmail.com. If you believe your rights are not respected, you may contact Morocco's data protection authority, the CNDP (www.cndp.ma).

  7. 07Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date.
